Talking Digital In-store – What is really happening in our Luxury stores?

“Drive to store”, “in-store digital activation”, “cross-channel CRM”… these terms are used so often that one would expect to experience revolutionary innovations when visiting the Stores of Luxury Brands.

Luxury Brands’ Strategic presentations, indeed, along with their 3-Year Plans and other declarations are full of cunning plans to:

–        Be true to their brands whilst delivering an ‘unsurpassed level of service’

–        Enhance the Sale Ceremony in store with true personalisation

–        Offer “endless aisles” to fit all customers wants and needs

–        Continue the relationship online

–        Drive from website to Store – through reservations, appointments…

–        Facilitate purchase and after sale

Looking around, however, it is not yet a reality – one can see those big video screens, store locators on websites… what else?

Luckily, being part of great projects, we see exciting things coming to market in 2014… and we are very much looking forward to it.

The big question is: what will really make a difference, truly enhance the customer’s experience and grow sales?
